In the research, development, and application of industrial protective fabrics, there has long been a technical challenge within the industry: the inability to simultaneously achieve high protective performance and high breathability. Traditional high-protection fabrics exhibit strong airtightness, which can lead to a stuffy and sweaty sensation during prolonged wear, thereby compromising work comfort and efficiency. Conversely, conventional fabrics with excellent breathability offer limited resistance to corrosive agents-such as acids, bases, solvents, and oil contaminants-making them inadequate for meeting safety requirements in high-risk industrial environments.

To address this challenge, a low-water vapor transmission and high barrier TPU functional film has achieved a technological breakthrough, simultaneously meeting the two core requirements of protection and comfortable wearability. As a functional film material fabricated from thermoplastic polyurethane polymer, it exhibits rubber-grade elasticity and excellent processability; it can effectively block water vapor, dust, oil contaminants, and various corrosive chemicals, while its controllable moisture transmission structure enables human sweat to be converted into water vapor and expelled outward, thereby effectively alleviating the issues of heat buildup and perspiration in protective clothing.
