TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a polymer material formed by the reaction and polymerization of Diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), Toluene diisocyanate (TDI), macromolecular polyols and chain extenders.

Its range of physical properties enables TPU to be used as both a hard rubber and a soft engineering thermoplastic. The material combines properties such as abrasion resistance and flame retardancy in ideal balance with mechanics, usability and flexibility over a wide temperature range while offering strong UV, weather and ozone resistance.
