Product Description
High-elastic TPU, medium-temperature TPU, low-temperature TPU; available with or without release liner, and mesh film types.
Features: Excellent elasticity, elongation at break of 300%~800%, washable, sweat-resistant and soft. It deforms together with fabrics during stretching and will not break under rigid tension. Hydrolysis-resistant, ideal for close-fitting lumbar supports.
Melting point: Low-temperature TPU approx. 80–110℃; medium-temperature TPU 110–140℃.
Application scenarios:
✅ Lamination of main lumbar support fabrics such as Lycra / elastic cloth and nylon
✅ Heat pressing for hook & loop backing (low-temperature TPU, will not damage hook & loop)
✅ Bonding of foam and elastic support sheets to fabrics
For large-area lamination of elastic fabrics for lumbar braces, high-elastic TPU adhesive film is required. Ordinary non-elastic adhesive films will delaminate when stretched during bending.
Based on the melting point of adhesive film: Low-temperature TPU: 90–110℃; Medium-temperature TPU: 120–140℃. Pressure: 0.2–0.4 MPa Time: 5–20 seconds. Shorter time for thin films; appropriately extend the time for thick films or multi-layer lamination.
Process: Cut adhesive film → Sandwich between two substrates → Heat press to melt → Cool and set → Test peel strength.
Key notes: Maximum bonding strength is achieved only after full cooling. Do not pull for testing immediately after heat pressing. Excess temperature causes adhesive overflow and fabric scorching; insufficient temperature results in poor bonding

Product Thickness Specifications (for Lumbar Support Application) Standard thickness options widely adopted in lumbar brace manufacturing: 0.03mm to 0.12mm.
✅ 0.03~0.05mm: Thin seamless type Designed for lamination of stretch fabrics. Features ultra-soft hand feel without bulky texture after compounding, ideal for lightweight close-fitting waist supports.
✅ 0.06~0.08mm: Universal multi-purpose type Commonly applied to hook & loop back adhesive lamination and foam attachment. Achieves a good balance between reliable peel strength and comfortable softness, the most popular option for mass production.
✅ ≥0.10mm: Thick adhesive film For bonding rigid support strips and large force-bearing sections. Provides higher bonding load. Notice: the finished composite will have a comparatively firm hand feel.
